WINE AT THE BEAUVELLE

 
A lovely evening in lovely (if scarce) company. It seems the weather (in RL) is finally getting good and Berliners are busy out there. Good news for me, I could enjoy a lot more cheese and wine at the Beauvelle. 

The club is taking shape. Can't wait for the swimming pool parties !

And a new Berliner, Joseph Arc from Barcelona. A curiously pale Spaniard.

Soak Your Troubles Away

 

Nothing like a soak in a beautiful pool all alone when the going gets tough.
There's a new spot in town all ready for the summer days, Berliners — well, a little out of town, in the Tiergarten to be precise - and it feels like heaven. More to come in an article for the Tageblatt soon.
Night night, for now, this crazy little woman has not managed any sleep when it is nearly 5 in the morning.

Herr Clarrington's Eggs

 Easter is here and this year Clarringon has set up a maze in the little park close to the Hof. I managed to get in an out without any help before Christmas, quite an achievement for somone able to get lost in a glass of water and celebrated my achievement by spending a few marks in delicious Clarrington's candy.

Herr Alf was there, Kohonnen? I never remember his surname but it sounds an awful lot like a very bad word in Spanish.

Herr Clarrington wore a mask that made him look like a very confused bunny—can't say I blame him, these times are enough to confuse the sharpest of bunnies.

 I hope you are all well and happy, Berliners.

SLUMBER PARTY

<whispers> The last hush hush party at Lesbenstrasse (such good name, Dorita...), or what the Berlin funky ladies got up to when none was looking.

 

Gyna doesn't leave the glass alone... and no wonder. We all had something huge to celebrate !!

Herr Clarington suffers from narcolepsy—He falls asleep on his feet for hours on end with his eyes open.
We have grown accustomed to this ((his driver is a very busy gentleman in RL)), but now and then, pranks are inevitable.
Or maybe, this skeleton belongs to a lady who waited patiently for Clarington to offer her a dance; she is still waiting *winks*

HORSES

When the world goes to shit, nothing like a ride with an old friend — I am a Southern girl, after all.
One word of advice about horses, they are even more temperamental than motorcycles ((and if they cannot be rezzed, you better put one together nicely and save it as an outfit instead of adding and detaching the whole thing bit by bit every time, if you don't want to create all kinds of havoc)).
I walk like a duck when I dismount— lack of practice ((or some problem with the HUDS, but i cannot sort it out. I am having to stop all animations and add Huds from scratch for now.))

PS - Something is changing in Berlin

Bubbly Saturday Night

 Last night we had doubly-bubbly at El Dorado!! Our sparkling Delphina spiralled and eventually climbed into a huge glass of champagne while teasing our men and our naughtiest women, in the most Sonnatta-like style. 

I enjoyed it greatly, and I wasn't alone!

 

MARACAS

 

 

Last night at El Dorado, Stella (one of Mitropa's regular artists) played her maracas for us.
Frau and Herr Mockingbird are still enjoying a well-deserved honeymoon.

Though I will never admit it to him of course, I miss them something silly.

FLY

 

My RL driver's first flight in 3 years, and it had to be using me and in a virtual world. So beautiful though! Aviation in SL is advancing fast, thank you blue eyes. Shame I fainted on the landing ahem. 

I was having a mental conversation with Amelie, as you do, while this was going on, and what are the chances?? she was sailing in the same Sim I was flying? Apparently is very popular and I had never heard of it before. I have to get out more O_o

And then for puddings ... I was burnt alive !! Kind of a 'would you like to be our RP victim' situation....

I chose a bad day not to stop smocking ...

A little fire... nothing to worry about ... *cough*!

But Legion is close to give me a hand, or a breathing mask.

Preparing their large hoses ... I was already well cooked  by then.

where is the fire? I can't see any fire... did anyone say fire??

Mother of GOD ... I was BBQing myself somewhere in there.

In I go! my RL driver has been pushed inside one of these twice before...

and ... by God! ambulances look the same!! let's hope my driver here is not  like the one in RL who got lost all over Surrey trying to find a certain hospital, in the town with more tiny roundabouts in the planet (factual, she was training, dammit)

And back to the station it is! 

 

Maybe ice skating after a fire might not be such a good idea? Either I melt the ice, or I get very sick! Or ... I just get hugged by a handsome actor! I can live with that. — Berlin's Spree has frozen!

Look I found a coat left behind by some idiot ! *plays the Titanic scene long before Cameron created it*

 

/me sings 'that don't impress me much tu ru turuuuuu'. I am a much better skater lets face it.

And nothing like a whisky and a man reading the paper by your side to warm up after a long day. Well... there are a few other things but when the boy is too busy reading the paper  zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
